Jacqueline Fairbrass

Holistic Health & Wellness Expert

& Founder, School of Complementary Therapies

Hi, I’m Jacqueline Fairbrass—licensed Hypnotherapist, holistic wellness therapist, vivacious health coach, and founder of the School of Complementary Therapies.

Known to my clients as “Mary Poppins in Christy Loobs”, I’m a Tetleys-tea drinking, Rod-Stewart lovin’ Brit based in Seattle, WA—and I help people to feel absolutely fabulous.

I do that by teaching them how to live healthier lives, and enabling them to realize their innate ability to heal themselves.

Now a dazzling diva of Health & Happiness, I was a young woman who grew up in a toxic and dysfunctional home. I had low self-esteem, was withdrawn and depressed. I turned my life around and for over 20 years have been teaching others how to make healthy, holistic and happy life choices.

Beginning my studies in Holistic Health Care in the early 70’s I have tons of qualifications. I’ve studied and practiced in the UK, Canada and the US and have become a renowned leader and expert in the Complementary and Alternate Medicine (CAM) field. I’d give you a list, and tell you all the publications and TV shows I’ve been on, but that’s boring. (And you can always go to my website to check it out http://JacquelineFairbrass.com)

What I’ll say instead is:

‘I believe we are not the products of our pain, our past experiences, what the media tells us. We are divine spirit beings having a human experience. When we remember this, we live happy and healthy whatever the conditions are around us.

I believe that if you can’t see the divine in all, you can’t see the divine at all. Though it’s not always easy to live that path, if we practice kindness and compassion we are making the world a better place. I guess I’m saying I believe in the inherent goodness of people.

I believe that we need to live our lives with balance. Fanaticism of any sort is not healthy.

I believe in magic. I believe in beauty. I believe in angels, faeries and spirit beings. I believe we are constantly being given messages all around us and that we need to pay more attention.’

I’m a contributing author to the Clinicians’ Complete Reference to Complementary & Alternative Medicine and Watch Her Thrive, Stories of Hope, Courage & Strength, an avid Holistic Life Style blogger, and a guest blogger and speaker in high demand. In 1995 I developed my first course in teaching CAM and the School of Complementary Therapies (SCT) came into being. SCT currently runs classes in Canada and on-line throughout the world.

Through my one-on-one coaching, on-line courses and programs I have touched thousands of lives; helping people to take charge of their own thoughts and choices.

Specializing in helping people through life transitions, depression and anxiety I bring both my training and my own personal life learning to the table. I bring humor, kindness and joy into people’s lives, teaching them the tools necessary to build self-confidence and self-worth and make healthy and holistic life choices.

I am especially passionate about helping people and teaching them how to take charge of their own lives. Over the years I have been on several health promoting volunteer boards, including the Canadian Charity Anxiety Disorders Association of Ontario, the heart health for women’s group Hug Your Heart and I’m currently a representative for the Jamie Oliver Food Revolution.

A Brit who now lives near Seattle with my husband and my rescued pit-bull, my clients call me a modern-day ‘Mary Poppins’. I love to see people learn how to change their thoughts and Choose to Live Healthy & Happy lives full of confidence. My greatest joys include spending time with my daughters and grand-babies, eating good chocolate and I always have a cup of tea nearby.
